Whether you're an engineer focused on blueprints for hours, an artist in the flow of creation, or a meticulous researcher in the lab, your workstation deserves a seat that rises to the occasion. This Professional Drafting Chair is engineered for elevated work.

Love the chair, good quality but a little tall for my preference. I have it on the lowest setting but would like a little lower. Still works out. One of the arms continuously falls back which I can’t decide if I like that feature or not, I think so.. since it allows it to push under desk fully.. Angela. Mon Aug 31 2026

It was pretty simple to assemble the chair. The chair is nice and comfortable for the price. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because the holes weren’t all aligned properly and it’s hard to get in the chair. You aren’t able to stop the casters from sliding.. Lakisha. Richardson, TX. Love, love, love this chair! Great quality, easy to assemble, and it oozes mid century awesomeness! Super comfortable, too. I bought it to replace an office chair that looked great but sat terribly. This chair is perfectly designed for comfort. Hits me about mid back, which works great for support. Cradles beautifully, and the material isn't slick. Sounds weird, but important for a chair. My previous chair was so slick I felt like I was constantly being ejected onto my office floor. The wheels are high quality, like something you'd find on a high-end set of roller blades. Previous chair had those awful plastic things. For the price on this one, you get a bangin' chair. Very happy I purchased!. Darren. Cincinnati, OH. Tue Sep 22 2026

This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. Thu Dec 08 2022

The Steelcase series 2 chair has technology featuring an innovative geometric design that flexes in two dimensions, supporting each part of your spine for responsive, personalized comfort and fit. The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back, and side to side), pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing plastic mesh back, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. The flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly covered by the Steelcase warranty.

Chair is very high quality, it has a very solid feel and is really well made. Assembly took less than a minute and required no tools. Lots of seat adjustments and overall a great purchase. The only thing I'm not exactly crazy about is that the seat cushion is pretty hard and can get uncomfortable after a while. Overall I don't regret the purchase. Great chair.. Matt. Aurora, IL.
