This bed was probably one of the easiest bed to build that I let my 4 yr old help with. It says you need two people, but really can be built alone. Put this bed together myself in maybe less than 20 min? The padding around the metal frame is a nice way to avoid stubbed toes. Definitely cant be used to step on since it will sink down, but not bad for small children since the bed is still close to the ground. The corduroy is super soft. The headboard did come with a small gray stain but didn't care for it since it's in a spot that can't be seen after install. Only reason for 4 star is because I thought the headboard would have a sturdy backing, turns out you'd have to basically paste and Velcro it on the wall it'll be against. I'm the type of person that constantly likes to rearrange furniture so I didn't do that since it would make it such a hassle to move it around if I wanted the bed against a different wall. It's not too bad though since it will still stay up as long as it's against the bed and wall. Overall though it's a wonderful bed frame and my daughter liked it a lot. Overall the main bed frame has been solid - no shaking, which is what I was worried about. The headboard is another story, that part is not as well constructed so it's more decoration. It's also overall bigger that a Cal King mattress so there is an open space on either the top or bottom (picture), the sides are an exact fit. This bed is absolutely beautiful. It was easy to assemble. The green color definitely adds depth to the bedroom and with the right duvet it's giving cool boutique hotel vibes. I took off one star due to the backboard having a crack in it. We did not go through the trouble of sending the entire bed back as Wayfair suggested after half way assembling. You can't go wrong with this bed in the camel color. It is absolutely gorgeous and elegant looking. The bed is comfortable and the perfect height with mattress only. If you add a box spring which ones not needed, it will be too high. The price included assembly which was nice but I believe the delivery guys damaged one of the side panels on the headboard when they opened the box, probably with a box cutter. There is a nice slice in the material. I reported it and Wayfair provided prompt assistance.
