I have the Elsa Grey Matelasse Coverlet as well as the Lodi Silver Matelasse Coverlet. I love them both, and they look great together, but the Elsa is my favorite because it’s more flexible and softer than the Lodi which is slightly more stiff. The Elsa has 2 distinct layers of fabric and feels warmer making it a better choice in winter. The one drawback to the Elsa is that the embroidered designs sometimes get snagged. I received these sheets as a gift and just wash them for the first time on a gentle cycle cold water. My washing machine does not have the middle piece so it's open and prevents fabrics from getting damaged. After these were washed I opened the washer to twisted sheets and pillow cases with a ton of white string. Since these have a frayed edge I am hoping this just happens with the first wash. I have place to call to customer service to get more insight. I'm a big fan of annaselkie and this is the first experience I'm having with one of my bedding sets.
