This sofa looks absolutely amazing in person and is well worth the value! I’m really happy with the overall look and feel. The only issue I ran into was during assembly. The platformbase that goes underneath the cushions doesn’t seem to sit exactly where it’s supposed to. I believe it will still be fine to sit on and use, but it’s definitely something worth noting. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa. The underside of the cushions is not upholstered. Seams are obvious generally, but especially so around the nail-head assembly of the arms. If your looking for a plump rolled arm that's nice to lay your head on, this will disappoint -- as will the interior padding and throw pillows. The pillow-fringe is sparse. The fabric feels thin and rough to the touch. It's advertised as a synthetic/cotton mix, but it's hard to feel the cotton. Not a piece around which to center a room or color-scheme. We waited a long time for these to arrive and continually had updates on the arrival date changes. I understood, as I know that there are shipping delays, but if I had needed these on time I would have been very disappointed with how long they took. Almost 4 months late. They were missing the hardware to fasten them together. When I called to request the fasteners they gave me a credit which I appreciated and I would say was excellent service. Overall I love the couches (ordered two of them at same time) and searched for over a year for the exact style and type that I was looking for. The sunbrella fabric is great and you just wash them off with the hose and everything comes right off. We had some rain unexpectedly and didn’t have them covered, and all was good. They dried fast and we were able to sit on them the next day. They are heavy and well made and the teak is nice. I am writing this to warn anyone thinking about purchasing this couch. I never return anything but am returning this. The wood frame is good, but ridiculously low to the floor. The material is incredibly cheap, the seat cushion is like a brick and it doesn’t come with the cushion and pillows shown. I waited 8 weeks for delivery and it so wasn’t worth the wait.
