I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. This dresser is beautiful and definitely looks expensive! I love the hardware, style, and color. It arrived all in one box, and had no packaging issues or damage. I only marked it down due to the quality of the drawer tracks. The top drawers are difficult to open and close. Sometimes they even get stuck and I really need to force it open. Excellent dresser! The colors were a bit darker than the reference image (I got oak). Still gorgeous! The dresser is mostly acacia with some rubberwood. Very heavy, very durable, very high quality. Usually, dressers have an MDF back, even super expensive ones, but not this one! Solid wood, through and through. The drawers aren't huge, but they're totally usable. I also liked the full color instruction booklet! The bolts and screws come vacuum sealed on these small, flat cardboard panels, all clearly labeled, and provide far more hardware than necessary! For those who struggle with assembly: just pay close attention to the booklet. It's very clear and well-labeled. The pieces themselves are labeled too. The package arrives in a big, rectangular cardboard box that weighs about 130 lbs. Since the pieces are packed so well, there wasn't a single scratch on the entire thing! A lot of thought clearly went into it. I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the camlock hole placement and the drawer alignment. It's a skill issue. First of all, the head of the camlock pins need to be positioned correctly in the camlock holes. If the pins are too deep or too shallow in the hole, the camlock won't catch. You can easily use a screwdriver to adjust the depth of the pins, and readjust as necessary as you assemble it. Just make sure you tighten them past the friction until they stop, and no further, otherwise you'll bend the camlock or even break the wood. Certainly no power tools. Second of all, on each of the drawer rails there's a little star-shaped metal piece that you can twist to align the drawers so they don't scrape against each other or the frame.. Marco.
