Folks, is a fantastic kettle! Solid enamel, sturdy handle and whistle, and the gradient Sea Salt finish is flawless. It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! My first kettle is 20 years old and I only bought a new one because I changed my kitchen color scheme. Over the years that kettle heated water on gas, electric, and wood stoves with never a problem . This teapot is beautiful! It looks so retro like from the 70s. It heats up water perfectly. The only thing is that it doesn't have a whistler at the top of the spout to let you know when the water is heated up enough.
