This sink is light weight and high on style. It's perfect to drop in the countertop. This sink is very dark and will stay that way as long as you don't use anything stronger than soap. If you use something like Barkeeper's Friend, you can get the bright bronze color. HOWEVER, that will break through the protection of the tarnished patina and return it to a "living" metal. Well made and gorgeous, heavy in weight. Time will tell how difficult this is to maintain. After a bunch of research I landed on this brand and sink polished nickel finish. It was the best of many “not so great” options but it’s such an established brand I was comfortable purchasing with them.
