The chairs from my old set are bulky yet all six fit around this table easily. Only negatives, and not worth subtracting stars for, are tedious assembly and the lack of any protective material on the bottom of the legs. Not a deal breaker for me because I have it sitting on a rug. Assembly instructions are straightforward, just tedious. I gave 4 stars mostly for my own fault. the table is pretty narrow. My own bad for not seeing just how narrow it is. Its just wide enough for 2 dinner plates to be across from each other. With 2 people sitting on the ends and 4 people around the table (2 on each side) there is barley enough room for plates and glasses, no extra room for serving platters.
