Love this little cathouse! My husband and I built a deck to elevate the house for our two stray cats. They haven’t gone inside yet, but have been up on the deck to eat and check out the house. I have no doubt once they try it out they will love it❤️. It seems to be a fairly sturdy little house and was pretty easy to put together. My feral cat had kittens in this box about 4 months ago and has been sleeping in it at night ever since. She goes underneath to lay in the shade, and also sits on top of the house to get a view. It’s cute watching her teach her kitten how to use it. Whole thing is insulated in the interior and made of wood. The wood will start to split in the weather which hasn’t affected it structurally so far, but if you’re handy it would make sense to cover the exterior with a coat of poly. I have a stray cat that has decided to live on my property but he doesn’t want to be an indoor cat. I like that it’s raised and one of the entrances has a hood. But the flaps for the openings are very thin and flimsy. The top zips on but it was very confusing to figure out where to start. Also the directions were horrible. They were printed in black and white and very blurry as if the printer or copier was running out of toner. I managed to figure it out.
