Only reason it didn’t get 5 star is part of the edge won’t stay flat no matter what we try. It’s too much hassle to return it so we shift that to the back of the room where there’s less traffic. Machine Washable Checkered rugs are easy to use and new style

I bought this rug for our new home to go in the main living room area under my large sectional. It is much thicker than expected, especially to be washable. I did also purchase a felt pad to go underneath. I have a dog and a cat both with gray fur and my automatic vacuum has no issues cleaning it. After 3 weeks, it still looks great. Made of recycled materials and done in calm neutrals, with an extraordinarily comfortable pile, these pieces are not mats: they’re the real deal, thick and soft to cushion every step. Plus, their lightness and foldability makes washing easy. Gaziantep, where these rugs are made, is home to many ancient Mosaics, whose edges have softened imperfectly over time. The Mosaic Collection is made of raised pile squares with soft edges: when your foot hits the pile it crushes, and its silklike memory means the squares move with wear, so it looks better as you live with it.
