Overall, I like these a lot. I wanted something sturdy and basic in this room which houses my home office because I also have a lot of dumbbells and they were on a weight rack which I found to be somewhat unsightly. I had to deduct a star because I could not get the latches attached to the lid, no matter how hard I tried and the pre-drilled holes for the hinges were really not acceptable. In both of these chests, the middle pre-drilled hole was missing entirely. The others were just barely drilled and so I had to ask a friend to come over and help me get the screws fully screwed in. The table feels very solid, it’s larger than most coffee tables I found and it matches my other furniture perfectly! It is a lighter oak so if you’re looking for the “warmer orangey color” this is on the lighter side but matched my end tables and fireplace perfectly! It’s a nice lightweight but sturdy stand. I was originally going to use it in my bathroom but decided it was better to store my son’s snacks in the kitchen. This way he can easily access them. The shelves are wide and can hold a lot. However I wish they were deep like on a cart so boxes like the gram crackers wouldn’t flip off the shelf when I move it.
