That said, the rug itself is more like a 3 star, looks just as in the picture & as described. Off white\crisp black color. It is a bit dizzying so id suggest a large coffee table or other furniture on it to break it up a bit. The material however makes it so that lint ect. sticks very easily to it. Needs to be vacuumed often but you for sure need a decent vacuum to do the job. All in all, i would definitely purchase again. Was this helpful? Yes / No

The only reason that I did not give five stars is because it tends to collect hair. I have a long haired Persian cat who's hair sticks to it pretty well. But isn't that with all rugs? One reviewer hit the nail on its head here b/c the rug quality isn't anything to write home about; however, its extremely large for what you pay. Its not a rich, deep rug either its more bare bones and gets the job done. Its like a large mat that's a bit fuzzy -- it gives the visual cues you want with the chevron pattern and covers the surface we needed very well. Was this helpful? Yes / No

I will tell you that it makes a great statement in the room. It is soft and stands up the vacumming well. I love it! It's important to know its not a plush rug w/ any pile, it's more of a mat. It also has a really rubbery smell to it but I'm hoping it will go away over time.
