This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. The first one sent had a dent in it because it’s shipped pretty carelessly and was shoved into a mailbox. The original also had the topside smooth and the underside a design. It's beautiful, I liked it, but I think it is more suitable for storing butter, on the kitchen counter, to use when cooking. I needed to use butter for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the dinner table.
