Used these knbs with Sanctuary backplates. Had to file off nubs from knob base to fit flush on the backplates. Apparently they are not intended to be used with the backplate. The base of the knob is almost as big as the front. There is much to grasp on for the younger and older hand alike. They clean easy because there are no grooves. These knobs are great! I will say, our previous knobs were round, so it took a minute to get used to square (sharper) knobs, but they look great look so much better than the standard round knobs. I love, love, LOVE these knobs! I looked for months for 13” center-to-center pull bars with a true oil rubbed bronze finish for my dresser to match the bar pulls on my night stands. I am so happy I never found the right bar pull, because these are better! They are solid with a gorgeous finish. One thing that I thought was a little strange is there are two screw holes per knob. I really didn’t want to drill more holes in my dresser (what if my style changes some day), so I used the inside hole on each and just tightened them up very well. This is a heavy, high-quality lnob. It is in the same color category of Top Knobs Honey Bronze. This is a unique warm shade of gold that blends traditional and modern together very nicely. It is easy to install with just one screw. There are these guiding pins that help you get in perfectly square. It is easy to open and close the drawer.
