This twin over twin bunk bed with storage stairs is very sturdy and good quality, it was also easy to assemble as instructions were clear. I will say having two people help cuts down build time significantly. The LED lights for the bottom bunk change colors which is a nice add-on and the charging port is movable so I added it to the closest socket. Just make sure to not add it or put baby proofing on it if you have children under 3 in the home for safety reason as it is a loft bed and easily accessible. The bed arrives in 3 heavy boxes. The directions are not as clear as building LEGOs, but we were able to follow them. There are a lot of pieces, so it took quite a few hours to assemble. Some of the pieces were scuffed and slightly damaged upon arrival, but not bad enough that we wanted them to be replaced. The bed is large and heavy when it's completely done, so make sure you have it where you want it as you complete the last few steps. The light in the shelf is cool, but the controls to turn it on/off are kind of weird, and the instructions suggest putting it in a place that you can't reach once the bed is assembled, so that doesn't make any sense. It was SUPER easy to put together. It had the same screws basically for everything, so it was hard to mess up. It does come in a lot of pieces, however, the slats will come in the smaller box that gets delivered which is nice. It took me about 1.5 hours with help. The tracking of the shipment was also super convenient and accurate. I was thrown off with the staircase handrail, it’s not very kid friendly to hold onto because it’s low. It does squeak a little bit when my girls climb the stairs, and can sway easy. That’s the only reason I took a star away. Otherwise it is perfect for my 2 and 3 year old to share!. Katie. This bed has a guardrail so you can sleep without worrying about safety. There is a stair for getting in and out of bed and shelves under the stair that can be used to store items. There are three drawers under the bed that provide extra storing space. This bed can also be divided into two beds to meet the needs of different people. The actual color may be slightly different due to the shooting angle and display settings.
