There is some antiquing I guess you could say, but its not much. There were no flaws or irregularities. The countertop tiles are very easy to wipe clean with a damp sponge. It is a soft wood (fir) so you do have to be gentle with it & it did come with some shipping/packaging character marks, but our style is rustic/vintage so it works just fine. I actually modified it by cutting off the bottom 2” on each leg & adding rollers so it is easily moveable by just one person.
