I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. This makes the modern black aesthetic stand out and remain clean and uninterrupted. I really appreciated this eye to detail.. Siv. Helena, MT. Mon Apr 13 2026

Just the perfect size for the fireplace wall that we are building. Fake wood inside makes it more realistic than crystals. The only one that I dont like is that its a little noisy. Great Delivery people. I like the fireplace. But it’s needs to be a little bigger. Im gonna put a Hearth under it to make it taller. Wish Wayfair would sale them to match the mantle. It looks better online. Would send it back but too much of a hassle. You’re paying for the cement because it’s not cheap. 200 lbs. I even like the color for my house.. Renae. Bushnell, FL. Wed Oct 14 2026

This is so beautiful. Just what I wanted! I did not use the bottom piece because I wanted the fireplace to be shorter than the window. Assembly of the mantle was straightforward. However, the fireplace which basically didn’t require assembly, left me guessing as to where to put the LED light strip. Personally, I did not like the back lighting, so I unplugged them.. Cristina. Installation: both in-wall recessed and hang-on-the-wall are available for you to choose from. A 120v, 15amp circuit would be needed. Two electrical connections: plug-in or hard-wiring. Multi flame combinations: the modern and realistic flame creates a life-like flame feel; two options for the fuel bed: log set or crystal stones. Multi-color flame and fuel bed in 5 brightness settings, crackling sounds, and adjustable flame speed to suit your mood cheerful or peaceful on different occasions. The flame and crackling effect can be used with or without heat. Heater: upper front heater blower (heat outlet at the middle top and air inlets beside the outlet). Two heat settings (high 1500w and low 750w) put out reasonable heat, but cannot be used as a main heat source. The thermostat and countdown timer are available for convenient and desired use. Modern home décor: The simple and elegant appearance design is perfect for the living room, entertainment center, office, or anywhere you would like. Touch screen buttons turned off after several seconds without any operation and an invisible main switch when used would perfect your feeling. Indoor use only

Easy to unbox and install. In the process of finishing my basement and this will not only look good, but also add a little supplemental heat to the area. Haven’t had a chance to see how much heat it puts off yet.. Chad. Sun Prairie, WI. Thu Oct 01 2026

The Vibrance Smart Linear Electric Fireplace from Modern Ember works in spaces that most fireplaces can't, including apartments, rentals, and rooms without a gas line, and the frameless profile installs either recessed into a framed wall opening for a built-in appearance or surface-mounted on a bracket for a clean wall-hung look that doesn't require cutting into drywall. Neither approach needs a licensed contractor, and the surface-mount option keeps structural changes minimal, which matters when you're renting. The LED flame system runs independently from the heater, which matters more than it might seem, most households want the ambiance in summer but not the heat, and the Vibrance handles both modes without any workaround. When heat is on, the 1500W output covers supplemental warmth for rooms up to 400 square feet, and the thermostatic control keeps the temperature dialed to your preference rather than running at full blast. The clear crystal embers ship in the box, so the firebox looks finished without an additional purchase. Flame color, speed, and brightness are all adjustable through the Tuya Smart app, the included remote, or Alexa and Google Home voice commands.

Really great, except for the very weird "fire" crackling sound it makes which fortunately can be muted because I'm installing these in bedrooms!. Melissa. US. Fri May 08 2026
