Strong motor with remote control, heavyweight fabric shades, and 4 bulbs. Enough light for the bedroom. I do have recessed lighting but this adds another layer of charm to my bedroom space. This is a great ceiling fan for small spaces. It looks very minimal. I do wish the speed was lower. Even the slowest setting is very fast.
