The Napier fireplace mantel is rich in detail and craftsmanship, reflecting both the artistry and care put into its construction. Really great quality. But it’s HEAVY. The weight isn’t listed anywhere in the description, at least not when I purchased it. (I double checked to make sure.) I’m pretty handy, but there’s no way I can install this by myself. I’d also feel a little nervous about my 100 year old fireplace holding all of that weight. It’d probably be fine, but I know I’d be thinking about it. I bought a lighter mantel and installed it no problem. Still trying to figure how how to return this one…. Tv. Sun Sep 13 2026
