It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. Ultimately, the piece is ok. The material is slightly more flimsy than I expected, but it looks nice enough all put together. It is also a little wobbly with no way to level it aside from placing cardboard under the feet. When assembling, I discovered that the pre-drilled holes on the bottom piece did not align with the rest of the cabinet. I ended up having to create new holes in order for the bottom piece to attach. Lastly, it says it's from the "George Oliver" collection, but that branding doesn't exist anywhere on the product. It's just generic furniture from China that you can find under different branding on other big box store sites. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably look elsewhere.. Anonymous. Tue Aug 18 2026

This looks good, not cheap particle board. However, I can't give 5 stars because it is so cheaply made. I don't think it's obvious unless you've assembled it. The metal is so thin- two pieces were warped from shipping . The wood is super lightweight pine. You can carve in it with a fingernail. There are already several scuffs on it before assembly. The instructions are poor. We had to take apart and put back together several times because key details were not included. Also, it shows the last step is installing glass doors, but that's impossible to do with the top piece on so I had to take it off to put doors on. There drawer has no rail or fittings , so it doesn't close all the way. In all it's better than mdf , but not worth the $ and I have serious doubts it will hold up long without scratches .. Milo. Very nice piece as described! However I would have preferred it to be a little higher and more space between shelves so you can actually use the space better. The instructions were pretty easy but there are a lot of screws and that little screwdriver that they provided wasn’t the best tool to use. Mostly as advertised. It is a good quality, sturdy piece of furniture for sure. It took less than an hour to put together and has lots of great storage options. The cabinet holds a full record player set-up and even has room for other decorative and functional items. The fluted side panels are a nice touch to have open or closed storage with ease. As vinyl records have become increasingly popular, I bought a record player and wanted something that doesn’t take up a lot of space and also holds albums (so they’re not just leaning against the wall!). This fits my needs and looks pretty nice. I got the off-white with the brown top. Now, of course it’s not real wood so I gave it 4 stars, but I knew that ahead of time.
