Solid and well made, but the wood is more reddish in person First impression after opening the box is very good. The nightstand feels solid and the overall quality appears very nice. One thing buyers should know is that the wood color has noticeably more red in it than I expected from the online photos. If you’re trying to coordinate it with other walnut furniture, I would keep that undertone in mind. One of my best open box finds ever. I found two under the open box listings and I highly doubt either box was ever opened as these were in brand new condition. They are beautiful. I got this little floating cabinet to fit in a corner of empty space in my office. It fits perfectly and I can store thing inside while also using the top for a legal size file folder and a paper tray! It’s awesome! these are really sweet and unique- solid wood, simple, etc. multiple people have commented on them. the only thing I didn't really think about was that I'd be limited in where I could put them in terms of where the studs in the wall are, and I also didn't think about how a wall-mounted light with a cord that hangs down would now awkwardly have to wrap around a wall-mounted night stand. not the end of the world, but might have done it differently next time. the product itself is great, though!.
