The lamp is beautiful and very nice quality. The base is heavy, sturdy, and came with no chips. The shade also came packaged separately to ensure nothing got bent which I appreciated for the price. My only issue is that the shade is so bright white, it looks more lilacblue-tinged. This warming light arrived quickly and with no issues. That being said this is the prettiest warming light I have ever seen. The shade is made from cut glass and glass beading. I took pictures trying to catch the color differences from lit to unlit. There really isn’t any assembly to speak of, it’s just attaching the shade and installing the lightbulb. I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper. Very nice! This lamp looks particularly great in the evening when it’s warm amber glow fills the room. The lampshade is beautiful, although mine arrived with a small crack at the bottom (see photo) it’s not a deal breaker, especially since I’m probably the only person who knows it’s there.The base is sturdy, but it does occupy a large area, at least it (the lamp) will certainly never tip over. The switch is located on the cord so it’s easy to get to. I would have given it 5 stars except for the cracked lampshade, let’s call it 4.9 stars. This is so unique, quirky, interesting. I love different little items, something you don’t see every day, that certainly describes this little vase. So much cuter in person than on the website. The vase has a clear bottom and sits on a wooden base which allows the light to shine from within the vase like stain glass .
