Momeni New Wave Contemporary Rug

The rug is beautiful, its height is adequate, and it feels pleasant to touch. However, as others have mentioned, it sheds significantly, even from light friction like sitting on it while kids play on the floor.. Stasya. Newtown, CT. Wed Jan 28 2026

The rug is even more stunning in person! We used it to replace a smaller rug in our sitting room and this larger area rug really helps ground the room and compliments its mid-century modern touches. The rug has a thick, plush, solid feel. It and a matching runner were delivered to our neighbor's uncovered porch during a heavy rain; fortunately, both were well packaged and protected. We love this rug!. Joseph. Washington, Dc. Tue Aug 25 2026

My husband chose this rug for our media room (his special space). It is a beautiful addition that looks and feels lush. We have 3 cats of varying colors. It amazingly doesn't show cat hair and yesterday I easily cleaned a dried cat mess off of it prior to taking these photos. It's a win!. Jennifer. Mount Airy, MD. Tue Nov 03 2026

The rug is gorgeous! Thick and soft with deep, rich colors. Looks great in our mid-century modern home. Yes, it does shed a bit. But after vacuuming a few times, that has stopped. Shipping was speedy and the price was great. Oh, and our cats look good on it, too!. Leegirl55. Santa Barbara, CA. Wed Sep 09 2026

Party rug. This area rug’s bold mix of patterns is accented by dimensional tufting and a palette that fearlessly combines saturated hues with subtle neutrals. Handcrafted from resilient New Zealand wool in a plush but durable medium pile height, it’s here for a good time and a long time.

This is a very beautiful quality rug. It’s very thick, about an inch thick. I have a round one, and as you can see, the runner to create consistency through the different rows in my home. It is true that you need to vacuum it often as stated in the directions to begin eliminating the fibers, but once you finish that cycle, you’ll be good to go. But keep in mind, it’s not really something that you can see. It’s just something that you need to do, and once you vacuum, you see it in your vacuum, so you’ll need to empty it. It’s worth the commitment because it is a gorgeous artistic quality rug.. Erin W.. MD. Fri Oct 09 2026

Absolutely stunning! My favorite rug, I’m going to order a larger size. It’s so pretty and reflects different colors in the light. If you are thinking about buying this rug, you won’t regret it! It’s worth every penny!. Holly. Orem, UT. Fri Oct 02 2026

I’m so pleased with this purchase! From delivery to how it looks in my home it is all SO good! Thanks to the reviews I was prepared for the colors being different from the listing photos. I prefer the actual blue to the blue in the listing. In real life the blue has more gray and green, which is exactly what I wanted! The wine red is still quite rich and dark and the orange is a nice rusty terracotta. There is no yellow. That is a warm beige, almost wheat. There is also a lighter, less golden, beige while the browns are what I would call mouse (not quite chocolate) and mocha (a little lighter and reddish). And the greens are very much sage greens, with one slightly more towards brownloden. The difference between the greens is almost unnoticeable. With my dining room seat fabric, the tiles on the nearby kitchen wall and the slate tile fireplace in the nearby living room, these colors bring all the colors of the rooms of the open floor plan together nicely. And the soft wool feels so nice underfoot! All wool needs vacuuming, but I don’t find it to be shedding and the few wrinkles will settle once it has been unrolled for a while. I am so excited!.
