This is a very beautiful quality rug. It’s very thick, about an inch thick. I have a round one, and as you can see, the runner to create consistency through the different rows in my home. It is true that you need to vacuum it often as stated in the directions to begin eliminating the fibers, but once you finish that cycle, you’ll be good to go. But keep in mind, it’s not really something that you can see. It’s just something that you need to do, and once you vacuum, you see it in your vacuum, so you’ll need to empty it. It’s worth the commitment because it is a gorgeous artistic quality rug.. Erin W.. MD. Fri Oct 09 2026

Hand tufted means yarn is punched through a backing by hand with a tufting tool, then secured with a latex backing, which gives a dense, even pile at a lower price than a knotted rug. The pile is about 3/4 inch thick. Sizes in this listing: 6' x 9' and 7'9" x 9'9". It works in a living room, bedroom, dining room or home office. Made in India. Care: vacuum regularly without a beater bar, blot spills right away, and use a rug pad. Some shedding is normal in the first weeks.
