I had one just like this and it wore down after many years. I was wanting to be over-the-moon happy about this, but it is WAYYY darker than the pictures show, and WAYYY darker than my former, chocolate brown, version. This one is almost black. MUCH darker than the pictures show. Still, it will hold all of my linens, and that is the plus I appreciated with the former one. Just be mindful of color if you're expecting brown.
