My thought when taking it out of the box was that the inner core or the furniture looked cheaply made, however it’s actually really good quality and builds nicely which you learn as you start working with it. The instructions were simple step by step instructions which I actually enjoyed working with to build these three of these Nicolee pieces. Absolutely perfect! I put this together by myself and it took me almost 3 hours to put together. It was a little tricky deciphering the directions at some points but overall it wasn’t too bad. Adjusting the cabinet doors was far easier than I expected. The soft close cabinet doors is a very nice touch. This piece is very heavy and I expect it to hold up very well over time. I was looking for a mix of a hallway console table and a tv stand with storage and this checked all of the boxes.
