These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. I am a hot sleeper, especially since menopause (sorry guys) and have been fighting the heat during the night with overhead fans and an oscillating fan as well. I didn’t necessarily trust the hype with cooling sheets, and especially didn’t like the price point either! I did plenty of research on what type of cooling sheets were the best and everything pointed to the Bamboo viscose material. I found this sheet set on sale and figured I would pull the trigger to test them without a lot of money out of pocket. The first thing I noticed when opening the package was the packaging itself. This set came in a really nice box (not a mailing box) as well as the sheets themselves were also enclosed in a fabric bag inside the heavy duty box. The material was really nice & silky feeling, but not heavy. I did put them thru a rinse cycle without any detergent then dried them on low temp as recommended. (I’m going to pick up some Dreft just to wash these sheets specifically since that is a mild detergent, as recommended). After I removed them immediately from the dryer, there were some mild wrinkles but those came out after putting them on the bed. Sleeping in these sheets last night for the first time was a game changer for me!! These sheets were so cool (not cold) all night long. I’m usually kicking off the top sheet (I don’t sleep with blankets, only the top sheet) multiple times during the night but not these. The only time I removed the top sheet was when I got out of bed in the morning! I don’t normally leave reviews for things but I just had to with these. Also, the pillow cases were different than standard cases. They come with a zipper the full length of the case which fully encloses your pillow without the loose ends of a regular case just flopping around. Loved that! I have already recommended these sheets to my best friend who is currently a “hot sleeper” as well. If you have ever doubted cooling sheets, these are the go-to ones, in my opinion, with a really good price too, especially compared to other much higher priced sheets! Love, love, love. I washed and dried these sheets and they require no ironing out of the dryer. Sometimes when my sheets come out of the dryer, I need to press them and the next time they come out of the dryer they will be creased in the same spot. Not these sheets! ABSOLUTELY NO IRONING!!!
