Not hard to install, but it is rather heavy and does not come with the glass panels installed. I ordered this lantern 03/16/2023 along with a Solus outdoor aluminum Lamp Post and JUST had it installed in my front yard [11/03/]. It's taken my contractor months to get back to help with this and other projects. I love the new lamp but one of the glass panels was broken.
