The lampshade is very pretty. It’s a good lamp. I wish that I did not have to cycle through the cooler settings to reach the warm soft light each time I turn it back on. It is on a table in my foyer and offers a very desirable change from the harsh overhead light that does not have a dimmer. There was a small knick in the base around the cord when it arrived.. Zinc alloy base with bronze finish. Each piece of stained glass is hand-soldered into place using the traditional copper foil technique.

The lamp arrived carefully packed. The assembly is fairly straight forward. The base is supposed to be zinc alloy metal, but appears to be molded resin with a visible seam. It's a solid base and feels stable. The included lamp is not very bright, not enough to read by, but good for mood lighting. The stained glass is very pretty and is the main reason I bought this lamp. It's a beautiful accent piece.. Sam. Cleveland, OH. Thu Oct 08 2026
