I received this table (which I intend to use as a side table by my couch in our living room), in about 10 days. I noticed a large tear and indentation when I got it ( by FedEx). Was concerned that there may be damage to the table. I was very pleased to see how well it was packed! Lots of styrofoam, and cardboard and other packing material. There was no damage. The table is very, very close to what the pictures of it shows. Strong, heavy wood, beautiful! Excellent quality. Assembling this table was easy. One person can do it in half an hour but easier if 2 people were involved to hold up the sides as the back panel was slid into the side panels. All pieces were in pristine condition. All parts were there. I am purchasing another of these tables after seeing how well made and classy this table is. I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. Also because the particle board in the back was a bit warped it was difficult to get the top to line up when assembling the final bolts. It’s definitely a two person job. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. If it’s delivered to your home when you are not there you’ll need a dolly to get it inside. It’s extremely heavy when all packaged together. Overall we were very happy with this purchase. The only issue we had is that the side spindles were somehow loose in the packaging with other parts and there were several scratches/chips on them.
