All of our Mexican tiles have an off-white background. DISCLAIMER: All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. I will have to agree with the previous person who said that they got a lot of repeat tiles but fortunately, I had enough boxes where it didn’t affect my project that much. Four stars because one of the Hansel and Gretel tiles was really scary looking and I did not use it. Looks great! Quality is very sturdy. Great product for the price, compared to major retailers. The stone came mostly together, we unfortunately did have one of the pieces break before we even opened the box. This stone gives the illusion that the full tile is made of stone, when it is just the front face that is designed to look like stone. Even though it mimics the stone, it adds a great touch to our kitchen.
