I'm a 67 yr. old petite woman and I just finished assembling this cabinet by myself, using only a screwdriver and it took me about 3 hours. It's very well made, instructions are easy to follow, but I did see the complaints about the difficulty with the doors, but I did not have a problem with the doors. Be aware that if your TV is 55" like in the photo, once you position it on the cabinet the TV legs will hang off either the front or back of the cabinet. This is a beautiful tv stand. It arrived fully assembled (minus the feet, simple toolless install). The only issue was the damage it suffered in transit. Both side panels had long cracks running vertically, one back corner had a chunk of wood missing, and the other back corner has a chunk of wood sticking out. Wayfair CS said they’re shipping replacement parts but I’m mildly concerned that the right parts were sent given that there are no part numbers physically on any of them nor in the instructions. We’ll see if everything turns out ok, but assembly will be required on my part now. Be warned. Packing material is not as robust as it should be for a heavy solid wood piece of furniture.. Daniel. My son and I put this TV stand together fairly easily. It took 35 minutes and required no tools except for a Phillips head screwdriver for the anti-tip restraint. It was a little tricky getting the sides attached, but one has only to slide up from the wide part to the narrow part to lock the sides into place at the top and bottom. It was a little tricky keeping the sides open for those portions where we needed them open to connect the sections. The top is heavy and it is overall quite sturdy. The wood has a pleasant smell and the doors are a nice touch. The black wood grain is elegant and the finish is shiny.
