I purchased the queen-size version and also paid for a person through Wayfair to bring the box upstairs and install it. I have slept on the bed for 3 weeks and so far the bed exceeds my expectations. It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. We needed to upgrade my 17 year old son from a twin to a full size bed and wanted something that coordinated with his other good quality furniture without spending a lot for the bed. Some pieces (including the headboard) are quite thin. One piece arrived splintered (assume occurred) in transit but we could glue and the way the screws fixed to bed, it wasn’t a structural issue.
