I’m pleased with the quality and the design of the birdbath. The birds came immediately and fought over a space in the bowl. However, I do have one gripe. Fantastic, 7222025, piece literally fell apart over the winter. YI would never buy one again the picture of it together is when it first arrived. 2nd picture is what it looks like today. They suggest that birdbath/fountain tops not be left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water/snow and freezes, the top may crack. All birdbath/fountain bases, bench legs, and statuary should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, and cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrap it with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to ensure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component. Cast stone products provide timeless beauty to your garden or landscape.

This is a nice bird bath. I wanted one that blends into my yard and wasn’t ornate and this fits that bill perfectly. It is hollow inside so it does need to be on solid, flat ground. Note that it isn’t perfectly level at its base so while it sits just fine it is at a slight angle - you can see where the water isn’t level in the bowl. There is no base stake so not sure why that is in the title but it isn’t needed and not sure how it would work anyway. And most importantly, the birds came right to and have continued to use it.. The only comment I have is that nowhere on the Packaging does it state whether the internal packing material (a heavy duty curly straw like material ) is compostable, recyclable or just garbage.
