For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. We have many of these in our house. They work very well to brighten our rooms that have not overhead lights. However, our third lamp in a row just died right after 5 years ( so all have been out of warranty and just past the 5 year mark). I have the lamp for awhile. I love the design and uniqueness of this double lamp. The only problem, the lights are extremely bright and harsh when turned on.
