This shelf/bar is beautiful and very well made and designed. We are installing the 40” in our new shower to use as a shelf for now, but looking in the future, we will probably need it and use it also for a grab bar as we age. I needed a little extra room for a 1/2 guest bathroom pedestal sink. I found the Delta Cassidy matching Glass Shelf with towel bar. The product information sheet showed that I did not need to install the towel bar. The glass shelf is the perfect size for decorative paper hand towels which are more sanitary than multiple use cloth towels when entertaining guests.
