This bed is very solid and sturdy! The assembly was easy but time consuming as I put it together myself. It took a few hours. My only complaint is there was a small bubble of paint on one of the finials that flaked off leaving the metal underneath exposed. It had a bit of rust on it. Some touch up paint should solve the problem. This bed is beautiful and I’m very happy with it!. Lorraine. Maine. Mon Sep 28 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The only draw back is that over time the mattress shifts one or two inches on the frame; however it is very easy to shift the mattress back so it aligns with the headboard.. Edisa. NY. Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs.
