I absolutely love these gel memory foam mattresses. This is the third one we have purchased. They always expand to the advertised thickness. We think they are so extremely comfortable. This one is more firm than the ones we have purchased previously and I’m not sure why. However, I do think it is still comfortable and very supportive. He says it is very comfortable, gives great support and he likes that the mattress isn't firm but on the softer side. He is a tall boy so it seems to be holding up good for the past month that he has been sleeping on it. His only complaint is that he would of liked to feel the cooling gels more. This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. My dad has also slept on it a few times and he also likes it but would of liked a more firmer mattresses (he is strange). Overall it is a very good mattress. The mattress came in a manageable sized box. We were able to unbox without anyone getting decapitated.
