I really like the bed frame. I specifically wanted a metal bed frame that would accommodate a mattress and box springs. Most metal bed frames are platform these days so the selection is rather sparse if you want to use a mattress and box springs. I just finished assembling it and it appears to be very sturdy for a metal frame. Assembly was very easy. Instructions were well written and all parts were included. The bed frame was packaged well and arrived with no damage. There were no defects in the frame. My only disappointment is in the color of the frame. The color was listed as bronze in the description but it is so very dark it looks more black than bronze. I decided to keep it as it would be such a hassle to return. We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. Besides, assembly is required, but from what we hear, it’s pretty straightforward.

Love, the fact that no boxspring was needed. Sits off the floor high enough to slide things underneath for storage.
