I ordered this toy box in the green color. It’s more of a sage green, and not as vibrant as the green advertised. In some lighting, it even looks gray. At first, I thought I had been sent the wrong color. Customer service was very responsive and helpful, and sent another to correct the color issue, however the new box is the exact same color. The box was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It holds a decent amount of toys for the size! It had a weird, slightly unpleasant smell for the first week or so but it seems to have disappeared!. The compact dimensions won't take up too much space, and the capacity has the depth to accommodate many an item. The backrest adds a decorative, inviting look to the seating area, so that it looks more like a place to rest the legs than a simple rectangular box on the ground. From the 3-tier side book rack for favorite stories to the padded bench with a washable cushion, every detail invites quiet reading time. Topped with rounded guardrails for safety, this toddler bookcase helps you create the perfect reading corner—where organization meets imagination.

As I suspected, the bench is so narrow and small, it's not safe at all for my toddler. For context, it's as deep as a children's book. So I use the bench as a bookshelf instead. Otherwise it's OK. Not as sturdy as I'd hope for the price and tedious assembly. Cute though!. Mick. CT. Mon Oct 05 2026
