A beautiful addition to my yard or garden. I ordered the 10ft 3-Inch Diameter Galvanized Steel Outdoor Lamp Post with Flange Base by Locontifni. It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. It is simple to assemble. It took less than 5 minutes to put together. It also includes the anchoring hardware or ground mounting hardware. I just add the concrete for stability. The lamp post has a nice brown finish. It does measure 10 feet tall and does accommodate a 3” diameter light. These brackets look great, paint up well (I got the primed only), and seem sturdy enough right now. But the last ones I bought - very similar design - I had custom made and the welds were definitely much more beefy and solid all the way around on those. These brackets appear to have just 2 tack welds where the curved part of the bracket meets each flat plate. We'll see if they hold up. They are not loose in any way though.. Nancy. These downrods by Fanimation are available in multiple finishes and lengths and will fit many installation needs. Recommended downrod length is based on ceiling height, with an ideal distance from floor to fan blades being 7 to 9 feet.
