I use this to put my puzzle table on and it works well for that, just have to be careful when changing the incline. The tilting function helps me get a good incline for puzzle making or painting. Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. I bought this desk a while ago and used it very successfully since. I like the way it’s designed so it can be lowered or raised quite a lot and tilted so it functions like a type of an adjustable easel for me, much better than my old drawing desk. Got this for my son’s room. I put a 1.25” butcher block top on it. The desk works great and lifts and lowers smooth. I have purchased other products from this company. You get what you pay for when it comes to products made of particleboard. The item, as a whole, is great - I would have gladly paid a bit more if the desktop was made of solid wood, however. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the one tiny chip on the desk's surface upon arrival. It wasn't egregious enough for me to put up with the hassle of returning it, but I'm assuming this blemish originated in transit. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!
