This unlidded Cazuela is great for making soups, stews, and other casserole-style dishes, and it’s because of its beautiful glazed finish, it can be taken directly to the table to make a dramatic presentation. Will last many years with proper use and care (each piece comes with a product information sheet outlining the uses and care for the product). As with other clay cookware, the flavor of the food cooked in it actually improves with use. Completely natural and safe contains no toxins or lead. In the semi-desert region of Hidalgo, Mexico, our Cazuelas are made by hand by artisans whose craft has been handed down for several generations.

More than I can ask for, I looked for many years even in Mexico to buy this type of cookware but I was without a luck , until finally I got them, this one I can actually cook not only having them for decoration. I love it. Anonymous. Fri Aug 22 2025

Cooking and serving hot dishes with stoneware is tasty, healthy, and unusual.Temperature range – The stoneware is only suitable for use in the oven. Withstands temperature from -68 °F to 842 °F (-20 °C to +450 °C). Food does not burn in it, as the stoneware has a thick layer.Thermoregulation – The stoneware has a unique ability to absorb and release moisture and, at the same time, to self-regulate the level of humidity and temperature. The products, cooked in stoneware, are especially tasty and healthy due to the correct temperature regime.CARE:Avoid significant temperature changes. We recommend placing the product in a cold or warm oven (not hot). With a sharp temperature drop, the dishes can crack.Soak in cold water for 10-15 minutes before each use. Before use, we recommend that you wash the product. Hand wash with warm water, add some baking soda or use a regular sponge with soap. Leave to air dry; do not wipe.Dry the dishes without a lid. Store the stoneware in a dry place.
