This is probably the best purchase I've made from Wayfair, and I've made a lot. Even my husband loves it. The lamp is very well made, heavy and truly a quality piece. The shade has a high gloss, which I wasn't expecting but I've come to like it. When turned off, it's a deep blue, when lit a soft purple. I purchased these for the living room thinking. I was going to go more Polynesian in my second home when I got new furniture. That didn’t happen so I put them in the bedroom. They’re fine there but I will probably eventually change them out since they are not the best with this furniture either. They were a great price. They were packed well but did have a flaw on one side. It wasn’t bad enough to send back. I just turned it toward the wall. No biggie.
