This is a beautiful chair, however I expected it to be STAINED brown, not painted…it IS heavily painted with a gloss paint that makes it look like plastic. So I am disappointed. It ia solid and comfortable to sit in, and I think I’ll be taking a wire brush to it, to tone down the shine.... Carol. Falmouth, ME. Wed Oct 28 2026

Comfortable and exactly as pictured. My only small qualm is there are what appear to be pencil lines on the cane (where the pieces are attached together in various spots along the sides and back), but the lines are under the finish so you can't get them off.. I really love these chairs. They’re so sturdy. The quality is very high-end.
