I purchased the 7" green metal posts to fence off some bushes from the deer. The posts are of a sturdy metal and well made. The soil I have has the consistency of sand and dirt, so the posts slide into the dirt easily. The posts come with an instruction booklet, nuts, bolts, metal hooks and zip ties. This came to me missing a part that is unavailable from the manufacturer. I had to fabricate my own but Wayfair was very generous with a discount for the missing part. Had everything been included in the box, the stand would definitely get a 5 Star rating from me. It is sturdy enough to keep a 12ft tree standing while a cat climbs it and plays with a 157lb Great Dane constantly knocking into it and a ball-obsessed Chocolate Lab pulling balls off the tree. They use a speed nut design that allows you to easily and quickly push stabilizing bolts into the base of the tree without tediously turning the bolt. This is really the neatest ornament display item. I saw several and chose this one because of the height size. But, when I received it, what is cool is if you don't want ornaments hanging 360 degrees, you can only put on the hangers on the front half, so essentially putting up against a wall on a table (the back doesn't need to have the hangers on it).
