Chatham recalls the rugged style of New England’s historic villages, where local craftsmen shaped design and architecture. Chatham’s turned lamp bases recall lathe-cut handiwork. Handsome features, like the beaded metal rings that cap the glossy opal shades, draw attention to Chatham’s premium materials. Quite different from the rest of the family, Chatham’s also available as an articulated-arm wall sconce with a cord cover and pleated shade for a classic touch.
I purchased two of these over a "sit at bar" in the kitchen area. I didn't want to have them be too distracting, yet needed a practical non imposing light that I won't feel I need to replace anytime soon. It's very solid, and is crafted very well. Goes well in my traditional/transitional home. The incandescent light bulb is perfect, as it doesn't bask an obnoxious bright white light, often seen with halogens and led bulbs. They glow a soft, yet practical amount of light, excellent for eating by, or serving a nice nibbles layout for a party. No blinders needed for these beautiful fixtures!. Joe. Dallas, TX.
