A simple, classic style, the Glenn 300 Watt Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of décor and spaces. A matte black finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. Perfect touch for the look that I wanted. I wanted something somewhere between spare contemporary and traditional, which is usually to heavy/fussy for me. This lamp is clean-looking but doesn't look as if it belongs in a cold medical exam-room. I think it fits into the space with a more transitional style without sticking out like a sore thumb.
