It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. We bought 3 fans, 3 different sizes. We have installed 1 of them at this point. The fan has a simple, clean style. It works well, cools the room on low speed. We like the adjustable light. We like the look, it is a nice improvement over the outdated fan We had. I gave it 4 stars because the remote and our switch are not compatible. We will leave the switch on and only use the remote.. I would give these fans a 5 if not for the one thing that I’m fairly disappointed in. I bought one, loved it so much I bought a second fan and that’s where I’m having my difficulties. I’ll explain, I use Apple HomeKit in house I have about 30 devices all controlled with Siri. My first fan was easy to install has a great fit and finish, looks great works great with Siri with no complaints. So I ordered a second fan, went together fantastically also looks great, but integrating it into my Smart Home not so good. It will not let me add the second fan, it actually says your fan is already installed which it’s not. After Googling the issue it’s a know problem. I just wasn’t aware of this issue until after I purchased and installed the second fan. So I’m relegated to only using the remote control for that 2nd fan. This fan worked out perfect on our back porch it moves a lot of air does not wobble and has thin sturdy fan blades so hopefully will last on the back porch in the middle TN humidity.
