A modern and timeless style that adapts perfectly to different living needs. This configuration of the classic design gives the furniture plenty of space in which to store books, documents or objects and practical support surfaces.

Second time building a usm style cabinet. Aside from the weird cabinet hinge design everything went together perfectly with all the included hardware. Be careful when installing the door hinges the nubs on one hinge that hold it in place broke off. Added the upper portion from my smaller unit to the new one. Anonymous. Sun Jul 26 2026

I was hesitant to purchase this file cabinet because of some of the reviews that cited poor packaging and damage to the cabinet. I am happy to report that the two-drawer, silver cabinet (MADE in the USA and already assembled!!!) was delivered in perfect condition and after figuring out how and where to place the hanging folder frames (included in the file drawers) and the cross bars (purchased separately thru Wayfair and described as the Hirsch Lateral Front to Back Rail Kit), I REALLY glad that I decided to buy this file cabinet. I am using the drawers for front-to-back, LETTER-sized hanging files. Because of the width of the cabinet, I used 2 cross bars in each drawer, which leaves about 6"of extra space in each drawer. This space cannot be used to put LEGAL-sized hanging file because the hanging folder frames are too far apart because of the positioning used to accommodate the letter-sized front-to-back hanging files. This is not a problem for me and the positioning can always be changed, if desired. You could use legal-size hanging files from front-to-back and there would be no extra space on each side. The cabinet is very sturdy, but I am going to purchase a piece of clear plastic to put on the top of the cabinet to prevent scratches. You can definitely place something on the top because the steel is very strong. There are 2 front gliders that can be adjusted to level the cabinet. There are 2 keys to lock the cabinet, and I am happy to report I can keep them in the cabinet until ready to use because this is not a push-in lock (thank goodness); you must lock it with the key, so it cannot be accidentally locked with the keys inside (which happened to me with my kids and another file cabinet). Both drawers lock with the one lock. There are also 2 plastic, magnetic strips you can place on the front of drawers to identify the contents, which is a nice touch.. Darla Kenton. Chicago, IL. I'm pleased with the assembled product, which we were able to assemble despite the absolutely useless instructions. Metal construction is very lightweight and "flexible", so if you move frequently that could be a problem, but for stationary use the two units I purchased work just fine.. Donna. Wed Jul 15 2020

I chose this filing cabinet for its size (4 drawer, lateral) and also for its color (red). All around I am very satisfied. I asked it to be delivered to the room I need it in. Wayfair is very good in keeping one informed of the ship date and ship time. The day of the delivery I received a text that the drivers were approx. 30 min out. Both wore their face masks and were very conscientious about safe distance. They placed the filing cabinet where I asked it to be placed. It is now sitting at its spot and is looking good. This is not my first purchase from Wayfair. And it certainly won't be my last. Great products - great Customer Service - fantastic and easy delivery! Thank you. Susanne. San Rafael, CA. Amazing quality, sturdy, exactly like pictures matches the description. HOWEVER.. DO NOT plan on starting this on a day when you are already stressed out, tired, its late at night, or you are short on time. I was in tears at one point and it took me a total of 8 hours to build..the instructions made the entire thing like a puzzle. None of the parts are labeled in the boxes there are no paper instructions . I used the assembly instructions from the order on the wayfair app. They really could use better instructions but after the mental torture of building it, i am so happy i didnt give up I’m happy with my purchase!!.
